Butchart Gardens Tour and Afternoon Tea from Victoria Butchart Gardens Tour and Afternoon Tea from Victoria -- The Butchart Gardens have been serving tea since Jennie Butchart treated guests in the early 1900s, making The Gardens Victoria's oldest and best-loved tea tradition. Afternoon Tea is served in the elegant Butchart home in the heart of the world-famous Gardens. In summer, tea may also be served in the stunning Italian Garden, one of the many themed gardens on the grounds. You will also have time to enjoy the wonderfully manicured grounds with trickling water fountains and winding paths set amongst some of the most spectacular gardens anywhere. Fifty acres await you - this truly is an unforgettable experience.
Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final. Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. January 1 to March 31: 11:00 am Tea at Butchart is served while silver sparkles on the starched linen and the air is fragrant with baking and spices - pots of perfectly blended steaming tea poured into fine china, as you enjoy the atmosphere that only The Butchart Gardens can provide. Tea includes seasonal fresh fruit, traditional tea sandwiches, a selection of homemade sweets, candied ginger scone with berry jam and whipped Devon Cream. About Victoria Victoria is a bit of Britain. Imagine a place so green, flowers fall right out of the sky and even the lamp posts bloom...where a colorful history is remembered in lovingly restored heritage architecture and afternoon tea is still taken in the traditional and unhurried manner. Imagine 19th-century shop windows full of vivid tartans, fine bone china, handmade chocolates and striking native art...a seacoast city alive with the romance of an era when tall ships moored alongside the wharf...where the beauty of the Pacific Coast and the adventure of the great outdoors are within the city limits...where whale watching is more common than watching the clock, and golf is a year-round pastime.
